What is EFT?
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. It is often referred to as “tapping” because in EFT we tap on acupressure points on the face and upper body to help our body gently release stress.
It is an evidence-based stress-reduction tool which can be used in therapy or as a self-help practice, to help people change the way they think, feel and behave.
EFT belongs to the field of energy psychology which makes a bridge between East and West, between psychology and acupuncture.
It is a great tool for addressing emotional issues to support physical and emotional well-being.

It seems that EFT affects the amygdala, the stress centre in the brain, and the hippocampus, the memory centre. S)mula)on of the tapping points is thought to send a signal to the limbic or emo)on centre and to reduce its arousal.
